www.britishinsurance.com
Q: I am looking a http://www.britishinsurance.com as an alternative to standard PPI customers by a loan.
Does any body have expereince with them or an alternative can you business?
Thanks
A:I use them and the policy came highly recommended. I've not had to claim (thankfully) but they seem efficient enough so far.
A:The ultimate underwriter is Bankers Insurance (Assurant) which is not Lloyds. It's an American outfit.
However, when I used to these people to insure horses, everything they did was very much above board and carried out to the letter of the insurance contract. They moved out of horse insurance.
A:I've just taken a policy with them recently and when I received the confirmation I was told that the first three months cover is free which was a bonus seeing as you can't claim during this time.
A:I have read both the British Insurance and Ant Insurance policies in full and both offer good cover.
For 12 months of redundancy, I have obtained cover between the two companies to provide 75% of my net salary tax free for 2.5% of my net salary. As a risk adverse person that will give me great peace of mind once my 90 day qualifying period has come and gone.
This would also put me in a strong position not to be pressured into accepting offers of voluntary redundancy if the event were to arise.
A:Ha. Good point scousebird, however, british insurance is actually very good.
I too am fully fsa regulated and actually sell alternative ppi cover. This cover is reasonable and actually worth carrying out.
With all these covers, the downfall is the start and the waiting time before you can make a claim! For this company is 4 months! Other range from 60 days to 120 days! This being the latter.
Worth the buy but look at this website as another company brokers out to this and is even cheaper!
A:i am an accredited FSA regulated seller of ppi for barclays-i have done and looked for alternative policies on own loan-i would STRONGLY urge you to check both policy wordings and choose the best 1 for your needs as usually the cheaper the lesser quality of cover-however it all depends on your individual requirements so check carefully
